How we’re different.
Oklahoma’s Medical Micropigmentation industry has lacked diversity and inclusion. We’ve made it our mission to create a practice that was reflective of everyone regardless of their age, sex, or ethnicity.
Illume Institute of Permanent Cosmetics is the only course in Oklahoma that focuses on permanent makeup for ALL. Our inclusive approach to permanent makeup allows us to celebrate all complexions while offering training on the safest procedures specifically tailored to the individual’s needs. The curriculum was designed with a global skin focus that will prepare our students to serve a multitude of clients regardless of skin type, tone and texture.

In Oklahoma, all medical micropigmentologists are required by law to be covered by an overseeing physician and all work must be done within the physician’s office. It is the students’ responsibility to secure a working relationship with an overseeing physician prior to completion. The health department will not allow the physician to "sign off" for you. In addition, the overseeing physician must be a medical doctor or dentist. The health department will double check all information provided to them.
